1. Before You Arrive: Be Prepared

Browse bridal inspirations—from Pinterest to magazines—and take note of the styles you love. Knowing your preferred silhouettes, fabrics, or designers helps our bridal stylists hand-select gowns tailored to your taste.  Our bridal appointments are an hour and a half for your first time in our boutique. Most brides have found their gown after about an hour.

2. Bring Along Your Inner Circle

We recommend bringing 2-4 guests whose opinions you trust—simplicity ensures your appointment stays focused and special. Our intimate bridal suite at Marien Mae Bridal Boutique & Events ensures a quiet, stress-free experience. We do have a limit of bride 5 guests to keep things more relaxed. However, if you would like to bring a larger group, please call in advance to your appointment so we can make accommodations for you.

3. Keep an Open-Minded

A dedicated consultant will take you by yourself through the gowns where the bride can touch and see what styles they are interested in trying on and will assist you with the fittings. Guests of the bride are discouraged from looking through the gowns as to keep the attention on the bride. Also, let our consultants surprise you. Many brides fall for gowns they never expected—so trust their expertise to help find what truly makes you shine.

4. Focus on How You Feel

Yes, design and fit matter—but how you feel in the gown is everything. If it lights you up, that’s where the magic lives. Our samples range from size 8-30 with a really great plus size selection. We are an EveryBody/EveryBride retailer with Essense of Australia offering a variety of gowns in sizes 18+ to try on.

We can also pair dresses with our vast collection of accessories from veils to sashes to make your selections unique.

5. Say “Yes” to the Dress

Once you find your perfect dress, our bridal gowns usually take 4-6 months to arrive in store as they are made to order. We suggest ordering 9-12 months before your wedding date in order to allow time for shipping and alterations.

Also, you may want to go ahead and shop for your Bridesmaid and Mother of the Wedding dresses. They take about 4 months to arrive in store. We do have an beautiful selection of ready-to-wear gowns for moms and guests to take home with you that day!
